Budding Photographer.

As you may know Alice got a digital camera for her birthday. It's a wee lego one and looks like it's made out of lego. The quality of the pictures aren't great, but she really enjoys using it and taking pictures. She is starting to realise that you need to hold it still when taking a picture. The first photograph is of one of her stuffed toys. Kank, the Kangaroo. She did name the kangaroo and the little joey is called Kong.

A very flattering picture of Stuart eating a scone!!!

Alice's best friend Fraser Bear.

Alice took this picture of her Nanny (Pauline's mum)!!!

She took this one of herself too. The moustache is milk!!!

This is a door at the top garden at Alnwick (pronounced Annick) Gardens.

A fountain at Alnwick Gardens.

Some ducks at Washington Wetlands Centre.

I think you can see that she is getting better at taking a picture and trying to get what she wants into it.

Very good! Tom takes our phones and takes photos but they are of the floor and his feet so well done Alice for being able to do it properly!!

There are quite a lot of her feet and the floor and her potty and cups etc. That's why we got her own, because she kept wanting to use our camera.

She certainly is getting better. The lego camera might not suffice for very long!

Amazing how wearing the green top made her eyes so green as well!

I thought that too about her eyes. Stuart and I were talking about that last week, and we both think her eyes are getting greener, if that's possible?

Well done Alice! Rhoda, you had better watch out.

Did you know that only 2% of the population have green eyes, and they see better at night time than the rest of us.

No Charlene, I did not know that!!! My mum and Stuart's mum both have green eyes, the rest of the family have blue!!!! Stuart as a statistician, will love that fact!!! Thanks.

Thanks Laura. She keeps getting it out and just snaps away. Generally of the kitchen, or something she's playing with. I really like that wee cardigan as well. It's a bit too small for her at the moment, so she won't get much more use out of it. Might by more green for her then.

Lisa, I didn't know you had green eyes. However, you are just generally falling apart!!! ;-}

Ha ha very funny!! Theres a few years left in me yet lol!! My eyes are green in a certain light and greeny/grey in others. A bit of a weird colour but then thats me all over haha!

You see Alice's eyes are the same, sometimes they look very blue and then other times they look a kind of greeny colour. She has a very dark blue ring around the edge which makes them very striking. Stuart's eyes, are just a boring nondescript colour, they just look greyish.
