We went to a farm on Monday and Alice really enjoyed looking at all the animals, especially the pigs. Then on Tuesday (as Stuart had a privilege day; civil servants get two extra bank holiday days a year) we went up to Alnwick (pronounced Annick) Gardens. Just beautiful, always a favourite of ours. This was Alice's first trip up. It's about a 45 min drive north of us and we put on her music CD and it kept her quiet the whole way up. She really enjoyed walking around the gardens at the top, looking at the water features (which are fab) and doing the maze. We didn't have time for the tree house or the woodland walk. Next time. Picture of Alice and Stuart looking at the pigs at the farm.

love the picture of her in the corner...nice hide away!! Stuart reminds me sooo much of our neighbour. Have to try and get a picture of him so you can see. Kristian doesn´t think so though...maybe it´s just me, good to see the new pictures. Keep them coming!! laura
Definitely want to see a pic of your neighbour. You've said this before.
She loves that corner, so funny what they enjoy. Stuart was making pasta come out of her ears tonight (he used to do magic tricks) and then she tried to make it come out of her eye. She laughed so much and kept putting the pasta up to her eyes as she closed them. Then tried to give me the pasta so I would do it. I didn't do magic tricks, so not so good with me.
Dont you just love it when they take a really laughing fit!! You should try and catch it on video.
Hi Pauline (& Stuart)
So lovely to see all these pictures and to catch up with what you're doing. Alice is gorgeous, takes after her Dad then!!!!! I do have an issue with your denial Pauline about magic tricks though. If my memory serves me right you (& I) were pretty fantastic at doing a dissappearing act!!!! Lorraine & Laura were known to perform a few dissappearing acts themselves. Talk to you soon.
Love Charlene
Great to hear from you Charlene. You are probably right about the disappearing acts.
Actually Charlene, everyone says Alice looks like ME, so there!!!
I was talking about your Aunt May's apple and mars bar sandwiches the other week. How did she make them again? They were soooooo yummy!!!!
Hi Pauline
That is truly unbelievable!!!! Lewis our eldest has just been introduced to Mars bar sandwiches(by the way I can't stand mars bar sandwiches)Mum made them for his lunch 2days ago. Right you need a veda loaf, slice your mars bar really thin & do the same to the (green) apple. Layer the bar & apple & enjoy! Give me corned beef, tomato & onion any day.
Alice does look like you (poor child!) only kidding she actually looks like Clara the family resemblence is very strong!
Talk to you soon Charlene
